| Sometimes a book needs to be accompanied by a song & dance. Sometimes a song & dance needs to be accompanied by books. Curious City is willing and able to plan or enhance an author event at your location. Curious City will also bring related books for sale to an arts or cultural event. Author Event Planning For several years, Kirsten Cappy of Curious City has been holding rather fun and educational author events. For example, for a celebration of Toni Buzzeo’s beautiful picture book, The Sea Chest, ulilene pipe player Tom Wilsbach played sea chanteys while the kids played games and choose book prizes from the large sea chest. Curious City can arrange for a portion of the proceeds to go to the organization. For example, would a celebration of Chinese New Year be enhanced by a selection of books for children on the holiday, Asian cultures or even books on Asian adoption?
