Long before there was One Direction, there was LEVEL3. Luke Dixon, Ryan Hale, and Travis Wyland had taken home two MTV awards and won a Grammy all before they were 18. Then, to the utter shock of their fans, the boys broke up.
But, LEVEL3 is back together this summer for one short tour with Portland, Maine Indie girl rocker Dilly Dilly. And they are playing at the Portland Public Library!!
Why our library and not a club or stadium? Because LEVEL3 has been fictionalized. They appear in Hilary Weisman Graham‘s new YA novel, Reunited as the band that reunites three ex-best friends for a 2,000 mile road trip to see LEVEL3’s reunion show. Reunited‘s publisher, Simon & Schuster, is sending LEVEL3 and Dilly Dilly on the road to rock the stacks of libraries from Portland to Austin in celebration of the book.
Come to meet author Hilary Weisman Graham for live music, free MP3’s from the bands, free chapters from the book, and a photo op inside LEVEL3’s tour van.
