Tupelo and his sock doll, Mr. Bones are in search of a pack. They discover the Boneheads, a group of stray and otherwise misplaced pups who worship the dog star, Sirius in hope of finding a home. Garbage Pail Rex (smelling of wieners) gathers them all aboard a train and takes them to a town for adoption.
Author/illustrator, Melissa Sweet and Curious City have devised a plan to help dog shelters by getting dog lovers all over the nation to register their dogs as “Boneheads.” Boneheads will receive a doggy bag full of things good enough to chew and shelters will receive signed prints from Melissa to auction off at their events.
